(see the Q&A at the bottom of this edition for more information about M.I.P including to how our edition release timing has changed. Please note that the versions of the Q&A found at the bottom of previous editions may contain information that is outdated in comparison to the information provided in more recent versions.)
This edition is particularly exciting because it's the first edition to be published as a news article and contains M.I.P's first ever interview!
We've begun doing interviews with established Deviants for those who are interested in knowing a little more about them and what tips they may have for aspiring/developing artists. We'll be doing quite a few more in the future, so stay tuned.
M.I.P is all about the unknown artists, however, and we have anothe
After a not-so brief and unexpected hiatus from deviantArt, I took the time to think about things, and I've decided that the best thing to do is to move on - that's to say I will no longer be active on deviantArt. I've relocated my portfolio elsewhere, and have been taking an amazing amount of commissions from many generous people since I've last checked in here.
I'd like to thank all of you who've been following me for some time now, and have shown interest in my ongoing little project, "Tempesion." It was very fun to experiment with different ideas and art styles, stories, etc, but it's time to move on from that too.
As a thank you to everyone who's supported me thus far, I'd like to present a little project to you called "Ossuary." It's a new universe I have been sort of playing around with, and I decided to make it a sort of Creative Commons project. This excerpt below should shed a little more light on it:
"I thought the best thing to do with all of it was make it all sort of a “freeverse” for anyone to share and take part in. In the download you'll find a lot of (purposefully) vague backgrounds, information, and images that suggest the general mood and feel of the universe.
I invite anyone to do whatever they'd want with it – whether that's create characters, use the world as a place to set roleplays – whatever. I'm not stingy – feel free to use your own characters in the setting. Make up a reason why they're there. It's partially why I left so much of the story blank. I wanted to provide the groundwork or springboard for anyone out there who's a creative spirit, but might have trouble getting things going. As someone who does a lot of day/night dreaming and creating, the biggest and most rewarding thing I can think of to do with that is to inspire others.
The only things I would ask is that whatever you do with this, if you do anything at all with it, is that you keep it free. I'm releasing all this under a sort of Creative Commons deal with the intent that anyone from anywhere can use it. So no commercialization.
The only other thing I ask is please, no offers of partnerships or co-ops. Feel free to (and I encourage you to) make up your own canon for how things came to be, new races, monsters, companies – whatever. Certainly, I'd love to hear about it, but no direct partnerships in coming up with anything new. I know that sounds a little cold and impersonal, but I do have reasons and its just to keep everyone sane and happy. It's a little hard to explain, but more informally: Not that I don't want to help anyone if they need or want it, but I don't want exclusive partners in creating things for it. I'm a lot more comfortable adding onto my own canon I have by my lonesome.
So all that being said – I hope somewhere, someone finds a little use for all this. Thank you all for the support, comments, notes, and kind words. Though I may not respond to every comment or thank for favorites, know that I do see them all and I do appreciate them.

Again, thanks to everyone on here who made this site so fun, and I'm sorry for any grief my leaving here might cause, but it's time to move onto brighter and better things.
To those of you who enjoyed my art for its style and conceptual ideas, fear not - to those so inclined, feel free to seek out a username sharing the same power as "Don Juan" from Hotline Miami.
