Runlar Industries, one of the most largest yet shadowed corporations in the history of the Tempesion galaxy mysteriously and quite miraculously made themselves extremely scarce just before the start of the Seraphim Afterwar.
In recent present time, numerous disturbing sightings have shown that the company may be back, and no worse for the wear having completely avoided the Afterwar.
Current ARC intelligence suggest that the former Runlar Industries has become the Neo Runlar Corporation, which does not keep its military power in secret, as did the older form of the company. Their main armor asset is a cutting-edge, state of the art hybrid between an MAV and aerofighter.
One of the largest problems regarding using MAVs in combat was that they tended to fall prey to any nearby air units. Aerofighters have always held the advantage over most units on the field: their sheer speed makes them difficult targets, and the ordinance they carry could be customized to defeat any target. However, the one fault with aerofighters is that they lacked the defensive "sit and hold" capabilities that MAVs and AMAVs were so successful at.
Enter the Harrier- Neo Runlar's answer to the problem. A fearsome combination of VTOL aerofighter and MAV, it has yet to find a situation where its extreme versatility could be challenged. Standard loadout consists of two cannons, two railguns, two surface/air missile boxes, and six smart bombs. It combines tsudayin MP gyro technology and the best of the dmargo aerofighter and sheilding systems. The Harrier is capable of atmospheric entry and exit, and it's airtight frame allows it to battle in vacuum if the need arises.
The only real time the machine is vulnerable is during a transformation; there is still a significant time duration required for the wings to break back into flight position and the feet to slide behind the legs.
The crew can consist of several setups:
Pilot and Copilot
Pilot and AI
AI (the rarest of the three selections).
