The character from my Sound Production class final, fleshed out in some greater detail.
"Stain" is a nameless operative in possession of the Neo Runlar Corporation. Being a prototype test-tube hybrid between human and dmargo DNA, she inherits the best traits of both species. As she is sterile, she is technically not a real species. Possessing the superior eyes, agility, and metabolism of the dmargo and the strength, cunning, and adaptability of a human has not left Stain without complications however. Like a dmargo, her ears serve as the primary way for her body to vent heat generated by an extremely fast metabolic system, so they are particularly sensitive. Her immune system is compromised and supplemented with many antibiotics and artificial leukocyte transfusions, and without a dmargo's snout and the very sensitive olfactory perception it gives, Stain's sense of smell is somewhat lacking (sensors on her mask / helmet aid in this instead). Not necessarily a detriment or benefiet but worthy of note, Stain also lacks nails as in dmargo physiology. While naturally inheriting a dmargo's peaceful and even-tempered mood, Runlar's conditioning manged to wipe most of that away. Having no real connection to a normal society, constantly fighting GEMeni's ruthless forces, and in the absence virtually any sort of social life, Stain has incredibly poor social skills and an inability to read social cues.
Tasked with the assassination, murder, or abortion (depending on how far developed they are) of GEMeni's artificial gods, she is a member of the NRC's elite "Godkiller" units. Her standard garb is a cut-down, lower grade version of the Ifryt bodysuits worn by Runlar's Psychic Operations Group "Sojourner" commandos. Both of Stain's weapons fire advanced HEAT rounds, specifically tailored for infantry vs TA or powered armor combat. The heavy-hitting shaped rounds are almost akin to firing small gyro-jet missiles.
In addition to the incredibly dangerous and unpredictable baby gods GEMeni churns out, Stain also must contend with the hostile environment of Tigris - GEMeni's main world of operations. -28°C temperatures are "good" days, and the GEMeni foundation's hyper advanced Gallow mechs and powered infantry roam the icy tundras. The remnants of past Afterwar equipment such as the empty husks of TAs and shards of Seraphim litter the landscape, rotting relics serving as a reminder to how GEMeni came into being as a result of the intense Seraphim-powered race wars. As she spends so much time around these "stains" of the past, many believe that this is how the Godkiller hybrid's nickname came to be.
Yup, she was "narrating" and the character who was shown. I've drawn her in more detail since that project, since she didn't need to be sketched several for a slideshow.
I could imagine a guy walking up to her from the back, thinking she's a Dmargo. Stuff's confusing right now. Good, but confusing. Also, does being sterile really make you not a species? There's always cloning.
